Roberto, his wife Ana and their three children have been part of the Church since 2016. Roberto was born in El Salvador and his wife Ana in Guatemala, both bilingual, their children were born in the United States. Since I arrived at Calvary, I had a very deep desire to be baptized and that desire was fulfilled in January 2017. With that step came a confirmation of a call that I had from a young age, which was to preach the Word of God as a minister. That is how, in mid-2017, I began as a worship minister of the service in Spanish that was opened that year, which brought with it the blessing of being later appointed as pastor of the service in Spanish. Roberto is a person who is passionate about preaching the Word of God and is a faithful believer that the Christian life is a close relationship with Jesus Christ, real and guided by the Holy Spirit. This is the only way to know happiness, to be filled to be able to serve our brothers and sisters who need to know Jesus, whom they will be able to see through our testimonial lifestyle that comes from the grace of God and our joy of the salvation that we have through Christ. For me following Christ, the truth said by Paul is very important: “you were buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him, through faith in the power of God who raised him from the dead.” Colossians 2:12. Baptism for me is an altar where the Father put me next to his Son Jesus to have a new life, my old man has died.

In my family and personal life, I love fishing, soccer, I love history, forensic investigation, among others. I feel very blessed that together with my family we seek the face of the Lord to serve him.

Roberto, su esposa Ana y sus tres hijos son parte de la Iglesia desde 2016. Roberto nació en El Salvador Y su esposa Ana en Guatemala, ambos bilingues, sus hijos nacieron en Estados Unidos. Desde que llegué a Calvary tenía un deseo bastante profundo por ser bautizado y ese deseo se vio cumplido en Enero de 2017. Con ese paso vino una confirmación de una llamada que tenía desde joven, que era la de predicar su palabra como ministro. Fue así como a mediados de 2017 comencé como ministro de alabanza del servicio en español que se abrió en ese año, lo que trajo consigo la bendición de ser nombrado más tarde como pastor del servicio en español.

Roberto es una persona que le apasiona predicar la Palabra de Dios y es un fiel creyente que la vida cristiana es una relación cercana con Jesucristo, real y guiada por el Espíritu Santo. Esta es la única forma de conocer la felicidad, ser llenos para poder servir a nuestros hermanos y hermanas que necesitan conocer a Jesús, a quién podrán ver por medio de nuestro estilo de vida testimonial que viene de la gracia de Dios y de nuestro gozo de la salvación que tenemos por medio de Cristo. En mi vida de seguimiento a Cristo es muy importante la verdad dicha por Pablo: “sepultados con él en el bautismo, en el cual fuisteis también resucitados con él, mediante la fe en el poder de Dios que le levantó de los muertos”. Colosenses 2:12. El Bautismo para mí es un altar donde el Padre me puso junto a su Hijo Jesús para tener una nueva vida, mi viejo hombre ha muerto.

En mi vida familiar y personal me encanta pescar, el fútbol, me encanta la historia, la investigación forense, entre otras. Me siento muy bendecido que junto con mi familia buscamos el rostro del Señor para servirlo.
